and lower miâdle classes in Higher Grade Vernacular Schools, $6.

(2) for classes, 4, 3, 2 and 1 in English schools and upper middle school classes in Higher Grade Vernacular Schools, $10.

$25. The ordinary tuition school fces to be charged in

each shool shall be determined by the school managers subject

to the approval of the Director of Education. For the purpose

of assessing the grant, not more than 10% of the estimated average attendance shall be allowed on account of remission

of fees.

ACCOUNTS. § 26. Each school manager shall render annually to the

Director of Education a duly audited statoment of income and expenditure in the form approved by Government's Financial

officers.

The annual statement shall include only the income

and expenditure in respect of the school activities covarûs

which a grant is made by Government.

$ 27.

At the end of the second year of each triennium

consideration shall be given to the recurrent grant for the next triennium, actual expenditure and income for the two

previous years being taken into account.

§ 28.

The Director of Education shall have power to with- draw or reduce grants. The procedure in such casce shall be

as follows

The Director shall, in his annual report, report the

school as inefficient or unnecessary, and etate specifically the grounds of his judgment, and the Government shall communicate the report to the

Correspondent and give formal warning to him that the Grant may be withheld or reduced, if the Director again

reports the school as inefficient or winecessary.

(ii) The Director shall, in his next anual report, and after

a visit paid win que notice during the last month of the School Year, report whether the school continues
